Tackle Smoking Project finds strong support for TFS policies and fewer instances of smoking than at non-TFS schools
The UNC Tackle Smoking Project studied smoking behavior at North Carolina high school football games at schools with and without 100% Tobacco-Free School policies, and found that there were more instances of smoking at football games at non-TFS schools than schools with 100% Tobacco-Free policies. Furthermore, there was strong support for 100% TFS policies among spectators at 100% tobacco-free schools.
